The
Springfield has a True Bypass so it is silent And transparent when not
in use, and nearly as quiet when its on unless you have it maxed
out. I have the Springfield first in line, as it is my heavy bat for
distortion, fuzz, & or overdrive. It sounds Great! Using a battery
or my 1Spot it is super low noise and from 0 to 5/6 it gives you
an excellent, thick, dark fuzz! Going from about 6 up to 10, it seems
to me that your volume increases without adding a ton more gain to the
overall sound. PLUS it cleans up outstandingly & can go all the way
back down to a clean & glassy sound as far as you back off of
your volume. This is a simple pedal can produce a very thick &
organic tone for you, if used properly. |
