UNCLE ERNIE'S EFFECTS OverDriver

UNCLE ERNIE'S EFFECTS OVERDRIVER. This pedal is a soft clip Overdrive with switchable gain for improved flexibility. This unit is with the tube amp in mind and shines as a way to take a single channel amp and give it three channels. In the Low channel the pedal is similar to a Tubescreamer but with better low end response and more features. Resent testing has shown that in fact the OverDriver has better headroom, more note definition, and less noise than the early sought after TS9s. It can be noted that it has the mid hump that is common to this type of design. The High channel has a small volume increase with more gain to help cut the mix.

UNCLE ERNIE'S EFFECTS LiveDriver

UNCLE ERNIE'S EFFECTS LIVEDRIVER. The design of this pedal is unique in that it is actually two pedals in one box, a simple and also brutal Boost and a Hard Clipping Distortion. The Boost although very simple is also very useful and effective. It can give a clean slight boost up to a loud distorted sound. The Boost features a Bright switch that turns the Boost into a Treble Booster. With the Bright off the Boost has a flat tonal response. The Distortion is a Hard Clipping single stage distortion with a flat tonal response. It's very simple in design and use and is most effective when used for hard rock and metal.

UNCLE ERNIE'S EFFECTS HoneyDriver

UNCLE ERNIE'S EFFECTS HONEYDRIVER. The HoneyDriver is the Compressor we presently offer. Uncle Ernie makes no bones about it being a Ross Clone as that's exactly what it is. The pedal has a wonderful tone and lower ambient noise than the original. A switch sets three different release times for the pedal. One is the stock Ross release, great for standard playing of rhythms or that squished sound. The second setting is for medium speeds, good sustain with less squishing to notes. Then a fast release is for fast playing and will be very popular with Bass players, no squish.

UNCLE ERNIE'S EFFECTS EchoDriver

UNCLE ERNIE'S EFFECTS ECHODRIVER. It's a 580ms hybrid analog/digital delay. It has a vast array of easy to find delay uses. I can dial in a pseudo reverb, slap backs, rock lead echos and delay harmonies in seconds. The design is tight, noiseless and very transparent. This design basically passes the original dry signal via analog and blends a parallel digital wet signal by way of the Level control. It's a pretty primative digital chip and with the use of the analog dry signal creates a wonderful output that's clean and with a hint of degradation in the echoes. The end result is much more like an analog delay than the all digital delays most widely available.
