Description

MXR M-134 STEREO CHORUS.

This gorgeous sounding pedal will remind you how cool chorus can be. Want to add sparkle to clean-toned arpeggios? Animate strummed passages? Widen and fatten distorted power chords? This box will do it all, cleanly and quietly. Set the Rate and Width controls to your liking and then dial in as much effect as you want with the Intensity knob. You can then shape the tone even further by EQ-ing the modulated frequencies with the Bass and Treble controls.

Run in mono or use the stereo outputs for a huge, vibrant sound. If you're looking to preserve the low end of your guitar tone, the MXR Stereo Chorus has got you covered with its Bass Filter button that applies the effect to the high frequencies only.

POWER:
- Two 9-volt batteries or Dunlop ECB-004 18-volt AC Adapter

CONTROLS:
- Footswitch toggles effect on/hardwire bypass (red LED indicates on)
- Intensity control adjusts overall effect level
- Rate and Width knobs tailor chorus tone, from subtle and sparkly to lush and watery
- Bass and Treble knobs EQ the modulated frequencies only
- Stereo outputs for a huge tonal spread

HARMONY CENTRAL USER REVIEWS:

Sound Quality: 10
Fantastic. It's whisper-quiet when switched on & there's no noise or signal degradation when switched off. There are a wide variety of sounds available from the pedal & changing the controls even a small amount makes a noticeable difference to the sound - unlike some other units where you can turn a control all the way up & down with little apparent difference to the sound. You can go from a tinny, metallic kind of chorus to a full, warm shimmering chorus, & some whacky sounds that I can't imagine ever finding a use for! The suggested settings in the small manual are a good starting point, I took the "Rush" setting, rolled off the treble and increased the width a bit to find my ideal chorus sound.

Sound Quality: 9
Sounds good in mono in front of my combo. In the stereo loop of my Engl preamp, it's fantastic. It really exceeds my expectations. It can go from subtle to a great warble like a univibe. Sounds good mono, but if you can run it stereo, you'll be glad you did.

Sound Quality: 10
Great analog chorus sounds from either setup. I was very impressed with the analog sound of this pedal! I was also very happy that when I plugged the pedal in I didn't lose my tone. The pedal doesn't change the sound and there is no noticeable hiss or noise from the pedal.

Overall Rating: 9
If your into chorus, this is the box! End of story. Go buy one now, you won't regret it!
