HARMONY CENTRAL USER REVIEWS:

Sound Quality: 10
I love this pedal. The coolest thing about this pedal is that the two channels sound totally different. It sounds natural and very tube-like. The top channel has a ton of midrange. With a bridge humbucker you can go from a very ZZ Top sound to early Metallica (think Fade to Black). With a neck humbucker or single coils it just sounds fantastic! You can get a great Rage Against the Machine type sound. This channel rocks for leads and stand-out single note type riffs. You won't really be able to get any kind of stummable sound out of this channel. Channel 2 sounds like Fender power tube distortion pushed to the max. People like to complain that this channel has too much bass. Well, it doesn't. It has an overblown, washed out bottom end. Very grungy. It does blues very well. It does neck pickup rythyms very well. It does leads very well. I can't really think of any recorded guitar that sounds like this channel, however, it always sounds natural like a good tube amp pushed to the wall. The focus buttons on each channel are pretty useless. Focus on the top channel with the gain around 12 will give you a perfect "Crazytrain" boxy small and transistor like sound. With the gain maxed and Focus engaged you can nail the solid-state buzz saw sound of Pantera. It is very useable in a live environment.

Sound Quality: 10
This pedal is not a tubescreamer or a Plexi simulator or a boutique distortion to give you that seventies tone. It's METAL plain and simple. For hard rock and metal, this pedal is perfect. I played it against my DS1(analogman modded) and it shit all over it. It has twice the output and maintains good definition. You need alot of headroom for this pedal to sound it's best.
