Now you can experience the most natural, neutral, boutique overdrive tones; in the BOUTEEK Preamp Overdriver pedal.  The goal of BOUTEEK was to design a natural overdrive that works in unity with your guitar, pickups, and amplifier; and not against it. Many other pedals alter or change the guitar players tone to extremes, sometimes beyond playability. If you want to hear your setup, the way it was meant to be heard, with no heavily EQ'd tone stacks or filtering; then the Preamp Overdriver is for you. We promise, the only sound this pedal will add is pure mind melting overdrive. 

BOUTEEK has taken all the input they have received from guitar players to make a multi-function, multi-purpose overdrive pedal; with all of the features guitarist have been asking for. It could really be called several things and placed into several categories. First of all of course, it is an overdrive pedal. Secondly, with huge headroom and volume, it can double as a booster when the drive is turned down. Lastly, it can double as a treble booster in BRT mode with the gain turned down.

 

Here is a breakdown and explanation of each of the modes.

 

The Overdriver Preamp in normal overdrive mode is an overall well rounded, super smooth, and warm sounding overdrive. No alteration was done to the tone. No boosting, scooping, flattening, or sculpting. If you want that you can buy a graphic equalizer pedal. What the BOUTEEK Overdriver offers is transparent warm overdrive.

 

Have you ever played an overdrive pedal, set the volume and gain just right, then get to the tone setting and say "Is this all the further the tone goes, it's still too dark?". With the Overdriver Preamp you will never have that problem. It is equipped with a second stage of tone, designed specially with boosted treble. If you like some spanky overdrives tones with some bite, then you're going to love the BRT bright channel. Many of the blues players we have demo'd the pedal to have bought one of these on the spot just for the bright channel. It makes your amp and guitar cut through with screaming tone.

 

Everyone needs a booster pedal. They are especially useful in pushing tube amps, getting more use from your guitar's volume knob, boosting other pedals, or for just making your amp louder. With the gain turned down to the lower side, the Overdriver turns into a booster with tone control. You are able to cut the drive, boost volume, and still have control of tone to dial in the shape you're looking for. 

 

Again, yet another setting that can be achieved with this pedal. Treble boosters have been popular pretty much since guitar pedals were invented and they have been the backbone for many of the legendary guitarists and bands that have shaped and influenced guitar playing in the modern age. Simply toggle the Overdriver into BRT bright mode, turn down the gain nearly all the way, increase the volume knob,and  tweak the tone knob for the amount of treble boost. Great for driving darker amps or driving other darker pedals. Some of the most sought after guitar tones were from distorted Marshall amps with treble booster pedals. Endless possibilities.

 

Lastly, not that it matters, as you're already sold on one anyway. The BOUTEEK Preamp Distortion was designed of course with total TRUE BYPASS circuitry. Even if you have no battery in the unit, no power supply attached; the pedal will still pass signal to the next pedal on your board, just like it wasn't there at all. Secondly, BOUTEEK knows that every little last feature and detail matter in pedal design these days. The Distorter not only accepts standard 9V DC (-) center power adapters as a means of power, BUT has a second DC OUTPUT jack on the left side of the pedal so you may link the to power your next 9V DC (-) center pedal and use the Distorter as a daisy chain to prevent clutter and mess on your board!

 

Please note that it is best, if planning to daisy chain from your BOUTEEK pedal, to use a power adapter as the DC input and not a battery. Use at your discretion and always be sure to check the miliAmps that your next pedal is feeding. NOTE: The Distorter will only pass DC 9V OUT voltage if a signal jack is plugged into the input jack of the pedal.
