The Twin Drive and Boost w Fuzz Inject contains the circuitry of the following FIVE pedals, all in one unit.

FEATURES:

DRIVE CH 1 (Overdrive)
Drive CH 1 is the Overdrive section of the pedal. The output of CH 1 is smooth, warm, and has medium gain capable of producing signals from clean (barely driven) to beautiful overdrive slightly short of distortion. There is no breakup or sputtering of your guitar tone. It is a very liquid, transparent, and open overdrive circuit. Let all of your playing nuances, techniques, and styles shine through this overdrive design.

 

A push pull tone know was added, and when you play it you will see why. That's because we want to give players as many tone options as possible. Normal pushed in mode is a warm overdrive. Pulled out tone knob engages a brighter, treble boosted "BRIGHT" mode. Killer spanky blues tones. WOW! Imagine SRV's tone. That's all we need to say.

Volume Knob: Adjusts the output level of CH 1
Tone Knob (PUSH PULL): Adjusts the tone of CH 1. Pushed in is normal tone mode. Pulled out is "BRIGHT" tone mode.
Drive Knob: Adjusts the drive/gain of CH 1

DRIVE CH 2 (Distortion)
Drive CH 2 is the Distortion section of the pedal. Where CH 1 left off, CH 2 will pick up and continue on. While designing the CH 2 circuit, we had one main goal in mind. This distortion has to be able to produce a sound for all styles of music and players, and that it does. 

 

For optimized user control over the gain/distortion on CH 2, the drive circuit was divided into 2 knobs. They are "PRE GAIN" and "DRIVE". This is where this pedal excels. The pre-gain knob allows the player to add ultra smooth, soft clipped distortion into the drive CH2 circuit. The drive knob allows the player to mix in crunchier, hard clipped distoriton into the drive CH2 circuit. The overdrive/distoriton possibilities are endless with our CH2. Blend in any amount of each type of distortion to create your custom tone. Hear it and you will see why this is called "ULTIMATE DRIVE".

 

A special PUSH-PULL tone knob was used that lets you toggle between "CLASSIC" and "MODERN" distortion circuits.  Both settings sound phenomonal, and we are certain our CH 2 will become your favorite new distortion pedal. The dual settings offer a distortion for any type of player. The classic setting produces an exceptional classic/vintage distoriton tone, focused on more natural tone.  Next is the modern setting, with the tone knob pulled out, focusing more on scooped mids EQ circuit. The modern setting has added LED rectifier circuitry (only on modern setting - not classic mode) for that added extra punch in the gut. Sounds like you're playing through huge stacks of amps and cabinets. Perfect for that modern, super crunchy, tight, higher gain modern rock stlye of music.

Volume Knob: Adjusts the output level of CH 2
Tone Knob (PUSH PULL): Adjusts the tone of CH 2. Pushed engages "CLASSIC" mode. Pulled out engages "MODERN" mode EQ circuitry and adds in LED rectifiers.
Pre Gain Knob: Adjusts amount of smooth, soft clipped, distortion of drive CH 2. Adds characteristics of tube-like pre gain signal boost before the main distortion circuit.
Drive Knob: Adjust the amount of heavier, hard clipped, distortion of drive CH 2

CLEAN BOOST
EVERYONE can use a clean boost pedal, whether you know that already, or haven't discovered their uses yet. In our goal of designing the most usable collaboration of features, it was a no-brainer that a clean boost circuit had to be added to the Twin Drive and Boost. The circuit simple boosts the dB of the guitar signal. What goes in, comes out - only louder. Perfect for soloing, boosting amps, boosting other pedals, or boosting the other channels of the Twin Drive!

Volume Knob: Adjusts the dB gain of the clean boost circuit.

BOUTEEKs FUZZ INJECTION
Your're going to LOVE this. Every try and get that special unique signature tone of your favorite professional artist but couldn't really figure it out? Is it overdrive, distortion, or fuzz? Our designers/players had that exact problem, which is why we added this key feature of our pedal, the Fuzz Injection! We have to admit we were influenced to add this feature to help us get the ultimate guitar tone of one of the greatest guitarists of all time. Let's just say he's from Austin Texas and might have the initials EJ? With our Fuzz Injection, you're there!

Tucked inside the board of the Twin Drive and Boost is an amazing stand alone fuzz circuit. Let's say you dialed in a great overdrive sound on Drive CH 1 but wanted to "FUZZ" it up a bit. With the Twin Drive and Boost w Fuzz Inject, it's possible! With this pedal, you can custom blend ANY amount of fuzz into either CH 1 or CH 2. This is the point of the product writeup where people start thinking... "Wow, this really IS different. Sounds like everything I've needed in a pedal, but never existed."

To inject fuzz into your sound, simple move the "INJ CH" 3-way toggle switch from off to either CH 1 or CH 2. The toggle routes the fuzz injector into the appropriate channel you wish to mix. From the moment the toggle is moved from the off position, the fuzz channel is now engaged. Now you can customize the sound of your fuzz channel by adjusting the Volume Knob, Tone Knob, and Fuzz Knob (gain). Lastly, use the Inj Mix Knob to blend the ratio of CH 1 or CH 2 vs the amount of Fuzz. With our special design you can have let's say, 20 percent overdrive and 80 percent fuzz, 40 percent overdrive and 60 percent fuzz, 15 percent distortion and 85 percent fuzz... you get the idea. ENDLESS TONAL POSSIBILITIES!

Want to have a full blown fuzz channel? Simple activate the fuzz injector into either channel, max out the mix knob to all fuzz... and presto. That channel is now a total fuzz channel!

Inj Ch: Selects which drive circuit (CH 1 Overdrive or CH 2 Distortion) that the fuzz is injected into.
Volume Knob: Adjusts the output level of the Fuzz Circuit
Tone Knob: Adjusts the tone of the Fuzz Circuit
Fuzz Knob: Adjusts the gain intensity of the Fuzz
Inj Mix: Acts as your blend, or mix knob to dial in the perfect ratio of drive to fuzz

MODE
Just when you thought you've seen all the key features, there's more. The MODE selector is yet another of our practical and very usable features. Well, hopefully by now you've figured out that this one pedal can take care of your overdrive tones, distortion tones, fuzz, as well as clean boost. Next brings up the terrible problem of the tap dancing routine. Ever been playing out, and at the most important part of your song where you need to switch from overdrive to distortion. Uuugghh, the dancing begins. The question you are thinking to yourself is, "How fast can I click off one pedal and switch on the next so the audience won't notice the gap of sound." Not a problem with the Twin Drive and Boost. This is where your options start to expand.

Toggle mode (TOG) takes the dancing away. In this mode, you can now alternate in ONE click from CH 1 to CH 2 and back again indefinitely. Dial in your perfect overdrive and perfect distortion and switch seamlessly between the two with ONE click of the footswitch. Clean Boost is totally independent at all times so you can click that in at any time, on any channel for volume boost!

Independent mode (IND) routes the circuit so all channels are independent of each other. All three foot switches act as 3 individual pedals. Your choices in IND mode are:
- CH 1 only
- CH 2 only
- Clean Boost only
- CH 1 + Clean Boost
- CH 2 + Clean Boost
- CH 1 + CH 2
- CH 1 + CH 2 + Clean Boost
As you can see this just opens up your tonal palate. Have a mild drive on CH 1 and then kick in clean boost on top of that for more spunk and volume. Have CH 2 on then add CH 1 on top of it for some wicked ultra high gain distortion. Have a Fuzz circuit on on channel with a switchable clean boost on the other. You get the idea. PRACTICAL USES.

BATTERY DRAIN POTS
Hope you're not tired of features yet. To top it all off, we know how picky some of those guitar players are. Every hear somebody say they will only use half full batteries? Well, for all you guys who crave the sound of lagging circuits, we added external trim pots on the back side of the pedal for all 3 drive circuits. This allows you to independently adjust the current flowing into the overdrive circuit, distortion circuit, and fuzz circuit. Like your overdrive on full 9 volts and your fuzz on 6.5? Not a problem. With the Twin Drive and Boost w Fuzz Inject it's possible.
