AMT ELECTRONICS DU HAST.
Du Hast is an aggressive distortion stompbox, with an
added punch of low frequency. Designed specifically for heavy and
drop-tuned players. Where your old pedals quit or couldn't keep up, the
Du Hast will easily take over and deliver searing crunch, screaming
distortion, and thick bottomed rhythm. Equipped with Low, High, and
Distortion knobs for custom control. All AMT pedals are designed to
sound equally as good through an amp or direct recorded due to built-in
cabinet emulation circuitry. Perfect for live performance and in the
studio. You must try one to believe it. The first time you plug one in,
you will be instantly addicted to the "AMT Tone".

When I play metal and anything else my mind can come up with this is a
great pedal for rock to metal. This is a good match for me. It is a
nice addition to my arsenal and extremely useful in recording
situations. And I would definitely buy another one.

- Can you get the sound of your favorite artists? Who are they?
- Are certain effects (distortion, chorus, ...) very good? Very bad?
- What setup (i.e. what guitars and amps) are you using this with?
- Is it noisy? On what settings?

Excellent sound quality. I would say it's a Mack Truck coming to roll your ass over. Great distortion pedal.
Overall Rating: 10Blues,
Hard Rock,Pop Rock. If my Rammstein were lost or stolen it's will
really drive me crazy! Immediately I'll to buy another. After
my Rammstein I literally dispensed my Old Big Muff Pi and my Vintage
RAT. The Rammstein is much more warm and you can hear all chords. The
Rammstein and the AMT Electronics really came to change and to
stay...That's all.
Overall Rating: 9I
play rock, punk, alternative, noise, and bought this pedal because I
wanted a Rammstein sound on some songs. It does exactly that. In
spades. I've been playing about 12 years, and for a lot of them I used
a Boss ME-6 multi-FX with five different editable distortion and
overdrive sounds. This pees on all of them. I'd get another if it went
AWOL. If you think owning a pedal that makes you sound like Rammstein
and has "Made in West Siberia" on it is cool, you will love this. If
you only buy pedals everybody has heard of, I'm sure Boss will be happy
to take your money (nothing against Boss, they're just everywhere, and
life would really suck if we all sounded the same). AMT Electronics
make a whole bunch of different distortion/overdrive pedals, and if
they all do their job as well as this one, then I think it might be
worth starting a little collection, particularly for studio work. I
reckon in a couple of years' time, people might be taking a lot more
notice of this company. |
