HARMONY CENTRAL USER REVIEWS:
Sound Quality: 10 This pedal rocks! I use an Ibanez RG470 with neck Duncan Distortion and bridge Duncan JB. I was surprised because this pedal was quite cheap so I decided to try it out, and the tone was fantastic. Very warm, almost tube like, very pronounce picking dynamics, it screams, wails and responds to your picking very well. Can nail many many fav guitar players' sounds with it, as well as sculpt your own.
Sound Quality: 9 The Fatal Tube's versatile EQ section makes for a great variety of tones and gain structures. The Contour is more or less a midrange shaper. The tone fattens and smooths up nicely for solos as the control is turned clockwise. Turned counter-clockwise,the tone becomes more aggressive and better suited for more modern,nu-metal type stuff. The High and Low control give good range and just add to the pedals versatility.
Overall Rating: 9 I am quite impressed with my AMT Fatal Tube overdrive/distortion pedal. It is quite versatile and it sounds oh so musical. I believe that guitarist of many different style could dig the Fatal Tube,as it works so well for everything from blues to heavy rock and metal. It sounds great in the bedroom and excellent on stage,as well.If lost or stolen,I would go on line and get another.
