AMPTWEAKER TightDrive
Our Price:
$179.00
AMPTWEAKER TIGHTDRIVE. The TightDrive overdrive pedal is the first Amptweaker product, a gain pedal that features the TIGHT control. This tweaks the amp's attack, and when combined with the Gain, Tone, and Volume controls, a lot of different distortion sounds are possible. It has the ability to dial in varying amounts of crunch, from barely clean singing blues tones, to crunchy rhythm sounds, all the way up to seriously overdriving your tube amp for tight chunky lead solos. Whether you're using it with a clean amp or to beat up your heavy amp, this pedal has the range to handle the job....it can even reduce the gain and tighten the attack to easily convert your heavy lead tone to a chunky rhythm sound.
AMPTWEAKER Bass TightDrive
Our Price:
$179.00
AMPTWEAKER BASS TIGHTDRIVE. The Bass TightDrive overdrive pedal came about after Greg Weeks from The Red Chord tried out the 'guitar' version at the NAMM show. He really liked it, and after some tweaks, this final fine-tuned Bass version is now ready for the public. It's perfect for tweaking your bass amp's tone, anything from tightening up the attack a little to building a thick distortion for pick-driven metal bass lines. In addition to Greg, other artists using the Bass TightDrive include dUg Pinnick of Kings X, and Sean Frankhouser with Bugs Henderson. When combined with the Gain, Tone, and Volume controls, a lot of different distortion sounds are possible. The tonal variations range from thick bass tones, from barely clean and fat walking blues, to crunchy rhythm sounds, all the way up to seriously overdriving your tube amp for really heavy bass.
AMPTWEAKER TightBoost
Our Price:
$179.00
AMPTWEAKER TIGHT BOOST. The TightBoost version of the TightDrive overdrive pedal has less gain, more volume and provides a cleaner boost to drive your amp harder. Along with the popular Tight control, it also has a Mid boost control that gradually adds a Parked Wah tone. This makes it easy to add a controlled amount of 'vowel' tone to your boost. While most 'clean boost' pedals have no method for preventing unintentional distortion, the TightBoost pedal uses the same distortion methods as the TightDrive, so when driven hard it has a nice sounding, warm and tube-like breakup on its own. It's great for providing a solo boost for your amp, or to further overdrive a distortion or overdrive pedal.
AMPTWEAKER TightMetal
Our Price:
$179.00
AMPTWEAKER TIGHTMETAL. The new TightMetal distortion pedal takes the TightDrive and TightBoost overdrive platform to the next level by providing over-the-top metal and hardcore crunch tones with adjustable tightness thanks to the Tight control. Like many other metal players, Mark was looking for a particular guitar tone, one with a lot of harmonics but with the ability to stop the notes really fast to work with their music. At January NAMM '11, various metal players made suggestions about adjustments to the gate, and the result was a redesign to include an automatic gate threshold that tracks the gain control, this keeps the Chomp setting appropriately hard, and backs off on that setting as the gain is reduced.
AMPTWEAKER TightRock
Our Price:
$209.00
AMPTWEAKER TIGHTROCK. The new TightRock Distortion pedal bridges the gap between two very popular Amptweaker pedals, the TightMetal and TightDrive. Its tone is not quite as heavy sounding as the TightMetal, but the gain range is much higher than the TightDrive. The pedal includes EQ and Gain Boost switches, and has a built-in noise gate that automatically tracks the gain control. The EQ switch converts the tone from the TightDrive EQ to a new PlexEQ which gives the pedal the classic vintage stack tones....more edge, a little less mids, and the classic 412 bottom.
AMPTWEAKER SwirlPool
Our Price:
$299.00
AMPTWEAKER SWIRLPOOL. The new SwirlPool Tremolo/Vibe pedal is Amptweakers first dive into non-distortion pedals, and was the most commonly requested pedal by consumers on Amptweakers website. Reminiscent of the synchronized Tremolo and Vibrato circuits common in some vintage 60s amplifiers, this analog pedal can duplicate many different types of modulation tones....as well as invent a few new ones. The two footswitch buttons provide bypass and speed control, allowing the user to switch between two different Speed and Vibe settings while sharing a common Tremolo control. By using these in various combinations(see the Suggested Settings Below), its easy to get many different tremolo, vibe, and rotary speaker tones made famous in the 60s and 70s which are still commonly used today.
AMPTWEAKER TightMetal PRO
Our Price:
$319.00
AMPTWEAKER TIGHTMETAL PRO. Since introducing the popular TightMetal distortion pedal in 2011, Amptweaker has received many requests for a two button version. Unlike most distortion pedals with boost, the TightMetal Pro includes 2 Boost knobs, one before and one after the distortion.....so its easy to boost the gain AND volume, for the perfect solo tone. Theres also a Midboost button that works with the output Boost knob, to help solos cut through the mix. We also polled many customers who didnt like the TightMetal, to find out what tone changes could be offered to reign in those other metal tones. The result is the Smooth Edge switch which cuts the high end sizzle for a warmer edge, and 2 Fat switches allow either the normal or Boosted tones to have a thicker attack with a bit more compression.
AMPTWEAKER BigRock PRO
Our Price:
$319.00
AMPTWEAKER BIGROCK PRO. After introducing the popular TightMetal Pro distortion pedal in 2013, Amptweaker immediately received many requests for a two button Rock distortion. With its included Fat and Smooth switches, the BigRock Pro can get all the familiar tones from our popular TightRock and FatRock pedals, and many more. Unlike most distortion pedals with boost, the BigRock Pro includes 2 Boost knobs, one before and one after the distortion.....so its easy to boost the gain AND volume, for the perfect solo tone. Theres also a Midboost button that works with the output Boost knob, to help solos cut through the mix.
AMPTWEAKER TightFuzz PRO
Our Price:
$319.00
AMPTWEAKER TIGHTFUZZ PRO. Another Amptweaker Pro pedal, the TightFuzz Pro is built from the popular TightFuzz distortion pedal. As with the standard sized version, there are many tonal options available thanks to the Germanium/Silicon switch, Smooth Edge switch, and 60's/70's tone switch. The 3 band EQ helps make this one of the most flexible fuzztones available, and Amptweaker's Tight control really makes a difference in controlling the attack of the fuzz. There's even an auto-bias feature built into the Fuzz control, which allows the knob to control from the cleanest to the nastiest distortions with one control.
