AMPLIFIER DETAILS:
The Marauder (rated at 35 watts) is our latest design, combining a
tweed style preamp with a strong, formidable clean power section. This
amplifier uses one 5AR4 rectifier, two 6L6 power tubes, and two 12AX7
preamp tubes. This amplifier runs in fixed bias operation and is hand
wired, point to point on a terminal board. This powerful amplifier
features a hi-gain and low-gain input per channel (there is a normal
and a bright channel). The low-gain channel does nothing but clean and
has a lower volume output than the hi-gain. The hi-gain channel
distorts very nicely and has great tone for blues, pop, and rock
players. There is a common tone control that is shared by both
channels. This amplifier sounds best in larger speaker combos such as 212 combos.
