ORION CUSTOM WAHS LIQUID B WAH.
As
many know, Orion has developed many upgrades for the C-Wah. Throughout
the duration of the C-Wah's existence, he's been working on one key
upgrade, with the purpose of fully capturing the sonic effect of the
original vintage effects used by Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan
(who have been notably rumored to have exchanged certain effects
throughout their own history together). Throughout the development of
this "ultimate upgrade" (so to say), he's discovered a unique
manufacturing method that seems to fully capture the "warmth" presented
by some "special" vintage effects.
While personally a believer
in God, Orion only believes there can be one God and this "warmth" of
certain special vintage effects used by very few select famous people
can be recaptured, and therefore continued the pursuit of what exactly
made these certain effects so special. Throughout his work, he came to
the conclusion that part of it was just in the rest of their rig and
"their special fingers" as so many believe. Orion personally was never
convinced of this, however, but it comforted him to know that maybe
there was something that could not be reproduced scientifically through
the pedals, and it really was just some special gift from God that
allowed them to sound so good.
Orion didn't give up though,
and fortunately the help of others (although Scotty was not involved in
this particular development at all, his own personal friendship and
advice served as a light for me to continue learning and believing that
there was more to be discovered and brought to light new ideas) kept
him going in the testing and development.
Finally, Orion's
favorite development so far! This development may not be most
financially beneficial development of those soon to be released, but is
his favorite because it's the most pleasing to the ears of all of the
things heard lately. He cannot release the name of this new technology,
nor put it into popular production until my patents and trademarks are
clear. He has, however, developed a new housing for this component (yes
it's a new component), so I felt comfortable "upgrading" a few of the
pedals of a few clients I'm comfortable with.
Please enjoy the
new son of the C-Wah, the Liquid B Wah! This upgrade takes the C-Wah to
a different level and is such an improvement that he didn't feel it was
right to continue with the same name. At the same time, it does
everything the C-Wah was designed to do better, so Orion felt it was
only right to give it a new name. This is the most excited he's ever
been about an improvement.
