Hands down the best boost ever made. It can do a clean boost from hell
with the post up, and the pre down or a fat tone boost almost like an
overdrive from the pre up, and post back a bit. Drives my tubes in my
amp like crazy. One amazing pedal. Do not buy any other than this
as it is the one last one you will ever use. Ihe tone is so good I dont
even use much of an overdrive at all. It gives my amp the most fat
harmonic power tube overdrive I ever heard. I bought three pedals of
Nicks so look for those reviews soon. His stuff replaced half the
pedals on my board. Only this kind of pedal deserves a 10! I give it an
11 for such a great job. This kid is 20 if you can believe that?

The Greer is a perfect match for
me. I got a Fulltone Fatboost and A/B'd them. No contest. The Greer won
hands down. It is more versitile and fits my applications as a gritty
rythem/boost for solos perfectly. The rythem sound of the Fatboost was
lame imo although it sounded good boosting solos. The Fatboost did have
a tone knob which the Greer does not. That was the only area it won
against the Greer. The Greer doesnt need a tone knob in my application.
It is true to the tone of the amp and adds a slight shimmer-kinda like
a sho does. I previously had a ZVex super duper which didnt work for my
applications as cool as it was. It was great as a boost and dirty pedal
for blues stuff but it just didnt work with my band. I didnt like the
gritty rythem sound I was getting out of it nearly as much as what I
get from the Greer. I highly recommend this pedal. Unsung and under rated.
