MXR M-104 DISTORTION.

In the middle ranges of the Output and Distortion controls, you'll find soft-clipped distortion tones that sound truly retro-authentic, especially when they're mixed with a splash of reverb. Pushing Distortion up higher produces classic fuzz tones that are finding their way onto an increasing number of albums. A welcome, enjoyable alternative to LA saturation and British crunch.

- Footswitch toggles effect on/bypass (red LED indicates on)
- Output knob sets total output gain Distortion knob adjusts ratio of clean signal with distortion

Sound Quality: 10
Great rock sound. If you crank the amp you get some noise but what pedal doesn't do this. Great for classic rock, blues, and some early metal. Randy Rhoads used this to get his signature sound. Great solid sound.

A play mainly rock and blues (Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, SRV, Clapton), this pedal gives me the sweet and smooth tone perfect for my style. I've got alot of stompboxes also like the TS-9 and Boss Blues Driver (2 great OD's), and I love them, but nothing like the Dist+. If it were stolend or lost, I'll definitly but it again.
