The Rust Booster was designed to amplify the original input signal without altering its tone in any manner. It�s Boost and Level controls can provide a wide variety of sound options, from crystal clear boost to crunchy overdrive. Its wide frequency range allows the Rust Booster to work with any instrument or input signal, and it functions particularly well with Bass guitar. The Rust Booster can also be used as a preamp/line driver to get improved performance out of other effect units when placed before them in the signal chain. Simple yet versatile, the Rust Booster provides a variety of useful applications in a compact package.

What I was looking for was a pedal to boost the natural amp tone for leads without making them sound "fuzzy" or "distorted". This pedal does that perfectly without coloring the natural amp sound. This pedal provides a boosted tone that retains the original clarity.
