CHASE BLISS AUDIO WOMBTONE ANALOG PHASER MKII
The Phaser is almost as old as stompboxes themselves. The first one was the Phase 90, and when that came out, the year was 1974 and there was one control; speed. 40 years later, Joel Korte of Chase Bliss Audio released the Wombtone, the culmination of 40 years worth of phaser research. Nothing before it had been so advanced and so wonderful sounding.
And now, the bar has been raised, again. The Wombtone MKII is now THE most feature-laden phaser available, with the warm sound to back it up.
Wombtone MKII has a few upgrades, including a rare mix control that moves from full dry signal to pure phase vibrato as well as the ability to switch between 2, 4, and 6 stages of phase for all flavors of phase from barely audible to that full, syrupy swirl. Further, every knob and switch is connected to a little digital brain while your guitar signal stays 100% analog the entire time and never gets digitally processed. Since the control of the effect is digital, it opens up unprecedented effects and features that have never been heard or offered in analog stompboxes.
There is now a wet/dry Mix knob that governs the amount of dry signal present in the overall effect. This allows players to fully tailor the effect to their individual needs, as some players might want only a subtle phase, like the MXR Phase 45, or some serious ooey-gooiness like the Small Stone.
16 mini DIP switches can be found on the back side of the pedal, offering nearly limitless combinations of controls and tweak.
