TELETRONIX TALENT BOOST
Overview
This pedal will definitely tear the roof of when
pushed to it's maximum. Although we don't
recommend trying this, we are sure users will
love having this pedal on all the time.
Designed to be used either as a preamp at
the beginning of your chain or a clean boost
to thicken your signal at the end. The Talent
Boost will most definitely bring a new sense
of appreciation for boosts pedals.
Artists
David
Ryan Harris (of John Mayer), Marcus Beaumont, Michael Chaves, and Tomo Fujita
Operations and Controls
Whether it's at the beginning or the end, this
pedal will regain the top end that seems to
get lost amongst other effects. Not only will it
bring clarity back, it thickens and beefs up
the tone. This is achieved via the BS-170
mosfet transistor working to push your amp
harder. Crank this pedal hard enough and it
will provide users with a light over drive, loud
enough to make your ears bleed.
Plug your guitar (or any effectʼs output) into
the right hand input jack. Plug the outputs
into an amp(s) or other effectʼs input. Set the
amp for a warm clean tone on bypass. Turn
on the pedal and it's instant magic.
TALENT: This controls the amount of boost
being output by the Talent Boost.
Placement
We highly recommend that you place the
Talent Boost at the end of your pedal chain,
just after delays & reverbs. You can set the
amp for your favorite clean tone for the most
blistering results. Try the pedal as an “always
on” effect, for fattening your overall tone. You
will soon notice the top end “sparkle” it brings
out of your amp when set accordingly.
Specifications
Uses one 9V battery (unit is shipped with a
carbon-zinc battery.) The low current
operation of this pedalʼs circuit will give you
an exceptionally long battery life. Current
draw is less than 2mA. A DC power jack
(standard Boss type with center negative) is
provided on the side of the pedal.
To guarantee maximum life of
battery, unplug your Talent Boostʼs
input jack when not in use.
Warranty
Your Talent Boost is covered under warranty
for 1 year from date of purchase, or as
provided by law (EU and UK). Please ensure
you fill out and send in your registration card
within 14 days from purchase, so that the
